Everyone has more and more access to information these days. Patients are self prescribing herbs, self teaching meditation and now, they can even try and find acupressure points to help them get pregnant.
After nearly 20 years in the healing field, it's my professional opinion that we need experts to help guide us through complicated medical issues. There is so much information, it's easy to be misguided or misdiagnosed. Medicine, whether it's drug therapy or surgery in western medicine or an all natural approach with acupuncture and master herbal medicine is an art. It's an art because no matter how many years of study nor years in practice makes diagnosing, understanding and healing patients easy. Every case is different. Every person has personal nuances and personalities and lifestyles that change how we respond to treatment. Sometimes it's the one subtle symptom that makes all of the difference in treatments and it's success.
That being said. Here is an article where I give advice and how to find acupuncture points that may help with your fertility. I hope you will only use this as a guide and instead, find an acupuncturist whose specialty is women's health and infertility to really get to the root of your fertility challenges.

Prescriptions Causing Depression Nearly 40% of Americans are At Serious Risk: And They Don't Know It
A terrifying study came out that researched over 26,000 Americans who are taking medications for medical issues that have nothing to do with emotional disorders. These medications are not used for emotional disorders, yet the patients are at a shockingly high rate of becoming depressed. Even worse, they don't know this dangerous side-effect about the medication and no one is telling them. Even more shocking, these people (remember it's 40% of Americans) so it's likely that "these people" includes you or someone you love in your family; many of these medications also unknowingly put patients at risk for committing suicide: Suicide. In people who do not normally have depression or anxiety they are now becoming depressed or thinking about killing themselves; or sadly do kill themselves. The medication are causing these feelings. There are no warning labels on the medication.
In light of the recent very public tragedies with the suicide of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain, we have got to educate everyone we know and love. Medications need to be a last resort, not a first option, at all costs. When you have a health problem, see your doctor, get their advice. Unless your condition is life threatening first go see your Acupuncturist immediately after seeing your doctor. In most cases, acupuncture can resolve your health problem with no medication or surgery.
Some of the drugs studied were seemingly benign, like the birth control pill that millions of women take daily. In addition to an increased risk of stroke and weight gain, we now know that women are at risk of becoming depressed, seriously depressed. This is not good news.
An even more seemingly benign drug: antacids are causing depression. Antacids with potential depression adverse effects, like proton pump inhibitors and H2 antagonists, increased from 5 percent to 10 percent and patients have no idea they are risking becoming depressed and potentially killing themselves.
Please reconsider each and every medication you take. Bring your medications in to your Acupuncturist and Herbalist and have an honest conversation. Ask them if they can help you with the condition you are being treated for. Together, with your doctor who prescribed the combination of medications, we more often than not can wean you off completely and heal the problem you were seeking treatment for.
We have very effective methods of birth control that do not involve hormones or the birth control medication. Acid reflux is often treatable with acupuncture and properly prescribed herbal medicine. Please never go off any medication without the advice on how to wean by your provider.
Depression is real. Suicide is at an all time high. Pharmaceuticals may be partly to blame. The only way to avoid side-effects from a medication, is to not take it. We fully understand that sometimes you must take a medication. But if you feel something, say something. It could be the medication that is making you feel this way. If you doctor doesn't believe you and won't help you stop the medication, it's time for a new doctor.
Acupuncture can treat depression and side-effects from medication quite well. If you find you must take a medication, it may be an integrative approach that helps keep depression at bay and very well could save your life.

his precious life! He's an all natural, acupuncture only infertility

version: 1 year trying alone with no pregnancy, diagnosed with
infertility female factor annovulation (no ovulation) , 2 failed Clomid
treatments, 1 Clomid treatment resulted in an ectopic pregnancy heavily
scarring her fallopian tube. 1 Failed trigger shot treatment. Then they
decided to try Eagle Acupuncture Fertility treatments. Locally, we offer acupuncture, complex herbal medicine and neutraceutical recommendations for infertility and preventing ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages. Across the U.S. we offer consults on complex herbal medicine and neutraceuticals for both male factor, female factor, blocked fallopian tubes and recurrent miscarriage with astounding results.
We were able to get her to ovulate all on her own several times. A little over one year working together exclusively with acupuncture, we were able to encourage her body to ovulate a healthy egg and here he is: a gorgeous baby boy.
His birth was fantastic and fast! Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby boy and thank you so very much with blessing us with your visit today!

PTSD Acupuncture Outperforms Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
PTSD post traumatic stress disorder can occur after any trauma and manifests differently for each person. Some experience heart palpitations, nightmares, difficulty concentrating and mood changes. PTSD, when untreated can be difficult for family member, co-workers and most especially for the person suffering. PTSD can occur after witnessing a trauma, a violent offense, a car accident or even caring for a child with colic. We most often think of soldiers as suffering from PTSD, and many do, however, every day traumatic events can create PTSD. PTSD can occur after being in an abusive household or marriage. It can be triggered after a traumatic surgery. PTSD can even occur in children who are mistreated by teachers, caregivers or bullied by school mates. Most patients won't be referred by their doctors but you don't need a referral to get help.
Even those who have suffered trauma from many years ago can get tremendous benefit from acupuncture.
A picture is worth a thousand words. See this image created for the study that proves acupuncture is the best option for treating PTSD.
Acupuncture Outperforms Cognitive Behavioral Therapy by a long shot and most certainly improves outcomes exponentially for those with no treatments at all. At Eagle Acupuncture we treat women, children and men for PTSD with remarkable outcomes.
Study showing benefit of acupuncture for PTSD
Some patient really like the idea of talking with a therapist and we encourage either acupuncture or combining acupuncture with cognitive behavioral therapy for wonderful, calming treatment and helping patients get their life back on track.

Sleep Like a Baby: Drug-free Insomnia Options
Insomnia it can rob you of everything: your sanity, your memory even your dignity. If you can't sleep, after a while, you can't function. It's one of the reasons many become addicted to medication that is known to impair cognitive function, and in even worse cases, allows you to do things in your sleep you don't remember doing including driving.
Those who love to put down anything and everything try to convince you acupuncture is all about placebo effect, has no scientific evidence behind it and they want you to believe them. Whether they are hoping you will remain addicted to medication or they just have misinformation themselves they pass on to others. More and more scientific information is disproving these habitual integrative medicine naysayers and quack mongers and the scientific studies aren't just perception of improved sleep, they've proven it by measuring the amount of melatonin in the participants urine. It was printed in journal steeped in western methodology and scientific measures: Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences.
The study proved “Sleep activity and sleep quality significantly improved following 5 weeks of individualized acupuncture…”.
More studies proved that patients who either had a hard time falling asleep or staying asleep had improved sleep.
"The subjective, qualitative assessment was better in the proper treatment group than in the control group..."
Yet other patients find they have insomnia due to chronic pain. This article describes how acupuncture treats pain and induces more restful sleep from a western medical perspective. If you love proof and you need it in western medical terminology over eastern medical terminology, you will love this interpretation. It also explains why so many people fall asleep during acupuncture, even if they are afraid of needles, as most are and they tend not to be nappers. Acupuncture helps regulate the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems. It also gives us a lovely dump of encalphins and endorphins triggering a euphoric feeling unlike any other and it helps us chill out, relax and take a rest.
Give acupuncture a try and you may just find you sleep like a happy, healthy, tired baby.
Eagle Acupuncture provides acupuncture for insomnia, anxiety and pain management. They also provide comprehensive herbal medicine for complicated medical issues. Call to schedule your virtual appointment from anywhere in the US (208) 938-1277.

Ear Infections Treated Without Antibiotics
Acupuncture (needle-less) for ear infections work wonders. We use a
special machine we call the tickle machine that does not cause your
child any discomfort during treatment but can still stimulate
acupuncture points.
We treat acute ear infections really well (that means it just started in the last one- three weeks) and we also resolve chronic, stubborn ear infections that are antibiotic resistant, painful and difficult to treat. Families that have been riddled with allergies, ear infections and fevers find healing here.
TOP 5 THINGS WE TREAT IN YOUR LITTLE ONES
1. Ear Infections with or without fever
2. Allergies
3. Digestive Upset either Constipation or Diarrhea or Tummy Aches
4. Insomnia or Nightmares and Night Terrors
5. Emotional Imbalances from tantrums to anxiety
A lot of parents are turning to natural ways to treat their children's health problems. With drugs come risks and side-effects. Parents want their children to get better but not cause another problem to arrive from the treatment. Children love acupuncture. Why? Because with our gentle, needleless approach, they feel better in a way they have never experienced before. They get the stress reduction benefits of endorphins and feel good hormones to help reduce pain, sleep better and even manage their emotions more easily.

Opioid Crisis Has An Answer No One Is Talking About
The opioid crisis has been exposed. Everyone knows someone who has been addicted to pain medication and it often ends badly. Either through anger, aggression, family feuds or doctor hopping, patients usually need more and more medication just to take the edge off or help them sleep.
Acupuncture has the potential to reduce or in many cases completely eliminate the need for opioids and non-opioid medications while also helping to treat opioid addiction.” Researchers have found acupuncture can replace opioids through stimulating the production of the human body’s endogenous opioids, or the body’s own physiology and chemistry to mimic the benefits of synthetic pharmaceutical drugs without the risk of side effects. In the majority of the cases acupuncture out performs opioid drugs in pain management.
In addition acupuncture has other benefits, including stress reduction and emotional pain relief. From a psychological perspective, acupuncture increase the levels of a variety of chemicals in the central nervous system – epinephrine, endorphin, enkephalin, serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine. These chemicals help relieve pain, increase healthy sleep and reduce anxiety and depression.
The opioid crisis starts with patient awareness, physician responsibility and referring out or seeking help from acupuncturists in three different ways. Either they receive acupuncture to reduce pain before starting on pain relieving medications or to help a patient wean off medications and heal addiction or to prescribe both medication and acupuncture simultaneously so the need for pain medication is reduced and it's easy to stop the medication early on.
More often than not, in our private practice at Eagle Acupuncture, it's a concerned family member who brings the patient in to see us in an attempt to help them get off pain medication and stop their pain. It is rare when a doctor initiates this recommendation but we hope to educate those in the medical profession to consider working together to reduce dependency and addiction to opioids. Patients don't need to suffer and together we can help patients feel better physically and emotionally. Thankfully, patients don't need a doctor to refer them to acupuncture. If you or someone you love has been taking pain medications longer than two weeks, it's time to consider acupuncture.
